Andrew C. Burks Jr.
Candidate for
Houston City Council At-Large Pos. #3

In the First 30 days Andrew will work to do the following,

 Freeze Property Tax
I will present an ordinance, which will freeze property taxes for all property owners in
     Houston, when they reach 65.

 Super Neighborhoods
I will present an ordinance establishing a monetary budget for all Super Neighborhoods,
allowing them to have a greater say and control as to what goes on in their
     neighborhoods.

 Group Health Insurance
I will create a Group Health Insurance Plan for Small Businesses who have 1 to 250
employees at No Cost to the city. Employers will be able to purchase at their option
affordable Health Insurance for themselves and employees.

Committed To Working To Make Your Tax Dollars Work For You
The Group Health Insurance Plan for Small Businesses will strengthen small businesses
     that reside in Houston.
It will reduce the Indigent Health Care problems of the Harris County Hospital District.
Commissioners Steve Raddick, Jerry Eversole and Jim Fonteno endorse the Plan.
Commissioners Court has agreed to return all monies saved from this plan, which helps
the Hospital District to the City for infrastructure repairs.
This plan brings in more money to the city and speeds up the infrastructure repairs.
I intend to make your tax dollars work for you and not you work to pay taxes.
I have a plan with innovative ideas that make sense.
